Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Pospot ("Pospot", "we", "us"). By using Pospot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What Pospot is

Pospot lets you paste a link - from a social post, a video, or any web page - and turns it into a pinned place on your private map, with details such as name, category, location, rating, address, and directions.

Pospot identifies places using automated analysis. Results can be incomplete or wrong. Treat every pin - including its location, address, rating, hours, and directions - as a starting point to verify yourself, not as authoritative advice. Pins are informational only and are not professional, travel, or safety advice.

What Pospot can process

Pospot only works with links whose content clearly refers to one or more real, identifiable places - for example, a post, video, or page about a specific restaurant, cafe, bar, hotel, beach, or attraction.

  • Not every link can be processed. Links that do not mention a specific place, that are too vague or generic, that reference many places without enough detail, that are private, deleted, geo-blocked, or otherwise unavailable to us, or that a source platform blocks us from reading, may fail to produce a pin.
  • No guarantee of a result. We do not guarantee that any given link will produce a place, or that a place we do find is correct, complete, or current. Automated analysis and third-party maps and places data can be wrong.
  • No charge when nothing is pinned. If processing does not create a place, we do not consume a pin for that attempt. Pins are only spent on a place that is successfully created - regardless of how accurate that place later turns out to be.
  • We may decline, limit, or stop processing any link at our discretion, including to protect the service, control cost, or comply with a third party's terms.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13) to use Pospot. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

Pins and payments

  • Pospot works on a pin model. New accounts get a number of free pins to try the service. After that, you can buy pin bundles.
  • Bundles are a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Pins are consumed as you create places.
  • A pin is only consumed when a place is successfully created. Failed or empty processing attempts - where we cannot identify a place from your link - do not consume a pin (see "What Pospot can process" above).
  • Prices are shown before purchase. Except where required by law, purchased pins are non-refundable once a place is created - including where that place later turns out to be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.
  • We may change pricing or the pin model going forward; changes do not affect pins you have already bought.

Your content and responsibilities

  • Your links and pins are your content. You are responsible for the links you paste and for having the right to use them.
  • Do not use Pospot to process content that is illegal, infringing, or that violates the rights or terms of any third party or platform.
  • Do not misuse the service - for example, by attempting to disrupt it, abuse automated processing, circumvent limits, or access other users' data.

License you grant us

To operate the service, you grant us a license to store, process, and display your content to you, and to use it as described in our Privacy Policy - including marketing use of the places you pin.

Third-party content and accuracy

Pins draw on content from the links you paste and from public maps and places data. We do not control that content and do not guarantee it is accurate, current, or available. Independently confirm anything important - especially locations, opening hours, and directions - before relying on it.

Intellectual property

Pospot, including its name, design, and software, belongs to us. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software beyond using the service as intended.

Service availability

Pospot is a growing product. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may limit or suspend the service, without notice. We are not liable for any interruption or loss of data resulting from this.

Disclaimers

Pospot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of Pospot or your reliance on any pin. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using Pospot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use of Pospot means you accept the updated Terms.
