What platforms are supported?
We support Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube - plus any web page (a blog post, a guide, a venue's own site). More platforms coming soon.
How does it work?
Paste a link - a reel, a post, or any web page. We read what's in it, work out which place it's talking about, and drop a pin on your map with the address, rating and hours.
Who's behind Pospot?
What started as a personal need is now an app people actually use. Pospot is maintained every day by one design engineer, who keeps improving it based on your feedback.
What if a post has more than one place?
We pin every place in it, up to 13 - and it still costs one credit. A 10-spot city guide costs the same as a single restaurant reel.
Can I plan with other people?
Yes. Create a list, share the invite link, and everyone adds their own pins to it. Only the places in that list are shared - the rest of your map stays yours.
What if you can't find the place?
You don't pay for it. A failed pin doesn't cost a credit, so you can try another link. If there's any hint of a real place in the link, we'll usually find it.
Is there a free trial?
You get 5 free pins when you sign up, no card needed. After that you buy a bundle of pins, and it's a one-time payment - there's no subscription.
Do my credits expire?
No. Pins you've bought stay in your account until you use them, however long that takes. Nothing resets at the end of the month.
