Instagram how-to

How to find your saved Reels on Instagram

Go to your profile, tap the Menu (three lines) at the top right, and tap Saved. Every Reel and post you've saved is there, plus any Collections you made, and only you can see it.

How to find saved Reels on iPhone and Android

  1. 1

    Open your profile

Tap your profile picture at the bottom right.

  2. 2

    Open the Menu

Tap the three lines at the top right.

  3. 3

    Tap Saved

It's under How you use Instagram.

  4. 4

Pick All posts or a Collection

All posts shows everything; a Collection shows only what you filed there.

On a computer or iPad

On instagram.com, click your profile picture, then Saved. On iPad, tap your profile picture on the left, then Menu, then Saved. Saves sync, so you see the same thing everywhere.

Saved Reels not showing? Check these first

You liked it instead of saving it - likes live under Your activity, then Likes. You're inside a Collection - go back to All posts. The creator deleted it or went private - it's gone for you too. You're on another account - saves belong to one account.

Getting the places out of saved travel Reels

A Collection called "Rome" holds videos, not places. It can't tell you which of the twelve restaurants you saved are near your hotel.

Share a travel Reel to Pospot (or paste its link) and the place lands on a map with a link back to the Reel. Instagram doesn't let any app read your whole Saved folder, so it works one Reel at a time - start with your next trip.

How to save a Reel so it shows up in Saved

A like and a save are different things. To save a post, tap the bookmark below it. To save a Reel, tap the three dots, then Save. Tap and hold Save to file it straight into a Collection - one per trip makes Saved usable later.

Common questions

Where are my saved Reels on Instagram?

Profile, then the Menu (three lines), then Saved under How you use Instagram. Saved Reels sit under All posts and in any Collection you filed them into.

Can people see what I save on Instagram?

No. Only you can see your saves, and the creator isn't told. The exception is a collaborative Collection, which everyone in it can see.

Why did a saved Reel disappear?

Usually the creator deleted it, the account went private, or you liked it instead of saving it.

Can I save Instagram Reels to Google Maps?

Not directly - Google Maps saves places, not videos. Pospot reads the Reel, finds the place and pins it, and each pin opens in Google Maps.

How do I see saved Reels on a computer?

Go to instagram.com, click your profile picture, then Saved. The same saves and Collections show up as on your phone.

What's the difference between saving and liking a Reel?

A like is public to the creator and lands in Your activity. A save is private and puts the Reel in Saved so you can find it later.
